💥HABITS :– "Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it." (Habakkuk 2:2). The power to make and keep commitments to ourselves is the essence of developing the basic habits of effectiveness.

Habits, scientists say, emerge because the brain is constantly looking for ways to save effort. This effort-saving instinct is a huge advantage. This process within our brains is a three-step loop:

1) First, there is a cue, a trigger that tells your brain to go into automatic mode and which habit to use.

2) Then there is the routine, which can be physical or mental or emotional or spiritual.

3) Finally, there is a reward, which helps your brain figure out if this particular loop is worth remembering for the future.

Over time, this loop –cue, routine, reward; cue, routine, reward –becomes more and more automatic. The cue and reward become intertwined until a powerful sense of anticipation and craving emerges. Eventually, a habit is born. A habit is formed when you consistently meet an important need with a chosen behavior.

A habit is any action, conduct or behavior that you do over and over again. This means anything you do twice becomes easier. It is God’s way of helping you succeed. Some experts say that when you repeat an action for 21 consecutive days, it will become a habit for you. Brainstorm for new habits. Make a daily to-do list each morning. Limit your phone calls to five minutes. Keep an idea notebook with you at all times and record your thoughts and ideas. Habits Decide Your Future. Great habits are the results of great *purpose.* Your sense of purpose will always motivate you to develop the habits that will bring you success and prosperity. Great men have great habits. That is what separates them from the masses. Successful people do consistently what other people do occasionally. Habit is the child of discipline. Discipline is doing something you hate to create something you love. Champions become champions by maintaining a discipline until it becomes a habit...a daily routine in their lives. The Secret of Your Success Is Always Hidden In Something You Do Daily. Good habits aren’t just the key to accomplishing your goals. Good habits are the key to becoming who you want to be. Target one new habit this week. Specify those habits that could apply to your life and help you achieve your goals. Now, believe that God will help you achieve them.

💥CHANGE :– Starting a good habit and Stopping a bad habit. Habits aren’t destiny. Habits can be ignored, changed, or replaced. Unless we change direction, we're likely to end up where we are headed. Unless you deliberately fight a habit with new routines –the patern will unfold automatically. Man fails. Champions simply get back up...and begin again. Don’t be too hard on yourself. Little-by-little you will start tasting the Rewards of Change. Discomfort Is Your First Seed For Change. The willingness of Ruth to leave Moab qualified her to meet Boaz, her husband. Write your answers to these questions:

1. What behaviors am I regularly choosing that I don’t want to choose anymore?

2. What triggers those behaviors?

3. What important needs am I trying to meet with those behaviors?

4. What new habits do I want to replace those behaviors with?

We need to acknowledge unmet needs, and we need a healthy identity so we can work routines that will have enormous impacts on our health, productivity, financial security, and happiness.
